Using vigorous marks with soft pastels to create a lively coastal scene with two oyster catchers feeling quite at home on the rocks.  Their bright orange beaks punctuating the seascape. 

I was inspired to paint these oyster catchers on the rocks, being splashes by the waves whilst visiting the Northumbrian Coastal region.

This original painting is 10"x10" and will come protected in glassine paper and ready to be framed.
